Representatives from Chevron Caribbean, Inc, Lisa L. Querrard and Carol M. Theodore and Chevron, Puerto Rico's Human Resources Director Marie Liza Rodriquez Falek, were given a tour of the new Humane Care Campus, located at the intersection of Weymouth Rhymer Highway, directly across from the entrance to the Cost-U-Less and Market Square East Theatre complex.
The newly constructed Humane Care Campus is scheduled to open to the public this year. The new Humane Care Campus will encourage, promote and respect the human/animal bond through education and strong collaboration with other community service agencies. This amazing 5 acre facility will provide programs for the islands youth which will positively impact their future and will become a source of pride for the entire community. Increased visitor participation will help the Humane Care Campus achieve its primary goal, which is to educate the community on the fair treatment of animals and the environment, therefore increasing the adoption rates.
President of the Board Joe Aubain received a check in the amount of $8,000 from Chevron. “We are extremely grateful for this contribution which will be used to help furnish the Corinne Lockhart Education Center.
