Cat Cafe

Cat Cafés are designated feeding areas for cats. They are attractive and designed to fit into their surroundings. All cats in the program are spayed and neutered by the participating property with the assistance of the Humane Society. Any surplus cats in an area are trapped and taken to the Humane Society.

Resident cats are fed daily by a designated employee. A controlled population of cats that is fed and properly maintained becomes an asset rather than a nuisance. They are easily identified because their ear has been "tipped" (the tip cut off while under anesthesia). This colony will also prevent other feral cats from moving into their territory.

The Cat Café program aims to keep everyone happy the patrons who like the cats, the patrons who dislike the cats and the property owner or manager who needs a controlled and healthy cat population. It is a win-win situation for all.

Specially designated donation boxes placed at different areas on the premises facilitate receiving donations from visitors such as yourself and make the program self sufficient. Any funds in excess of actual costs are donated to the Humane Society of St. Thomas for a feral cat spay/neuter fund.

Please help us prevent overpopulation on our island; please donate generously to the Cat Café program!
